Right to erasure
Also known as: right to be forgotten
The right to erasure (also known as the "right to be forgotten") entitles data subjects to request the deletion of their personal data where: the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; consent has been withdrawn and there is no other lawful basis; the data subject objects to processing under legitimate interests and there are no overriding grounds; or the data has been unlawfully processed.
