Automated decision-making
Automated decision-making refers to decisions made by automated processing without human involvement that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals. Data subjects have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects. Controllers must provide meaningful information about the logic involved when such decisions are made.
